- Infrastructure Development: Advocating for improvements to roads, bridges, highways, and public transit to enhance regional connectivity and economic vitality.
- Business & Logistics Support: Addressing transportation challenges affecting supply chains, freight movement, and workforce mobility.
- Public Transit & Accessibility: Supporting initiatives that expand and improve public transportation options, including bus routes and alternative transit methods.
- Advocacy & Policy: Engaging with local, state, and federal officials to influence transportation funding, legislation, and policy decisions.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Encouraging the adoption of smart transportation solutions, such as electric vehicles, bike-friendly infrastructure, and environmentally friendly initiatives.
- Construction Partnerships: Facilitating collaboration with the Construction Business Community by presenting transportation-related project bids to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure developments.

The Chamber Ambassador Team is comprised of a group of highly motivated business professionals with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop a thorough knowledge of programs and services offered by the Chamber. They are a vital liaison between the Chamber and its members, encouraging involvement and extending goodwill. This committee was established by the Board of Directors to further the mission of the Chamber by increasing member retention and participation through mentoring, referrals, and personal outreach. The Ambassador Board consists of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Development Chair, Recruitment Chair, Social Chair and two At Large Ambassadors who meet monthly to ensure the Ambassador program runs smoothly and represents the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce in a professional manner.

The Young Professionals of Greater Peoria Committee is a group of YPGP Members who support the organization's mission by creating and promoting personal and professional development opportunities for members.
