Strategic Priorities
In the summer of 2018, the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors approved a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan. The plan aims to guide the Chamber in its efforts to become the leading voice for business in the region through political advocacy, being inclusive and diverse in our approach to work, advocating the improvement of the region’s quality of place, and being a source for strong leadership development.
Five main goals comprise the strategic plan
- Succeed - Deliver membership programs and opportunities to support business success
- Advocate - Represent the interests of business in the region
- Lead - Develop leaders to serve the Chamber and the region
- Strengthen - Improve the region by supporting business prosperity
- Align - Lead a respected Chamber with a pivotal role in aligning resources to benefit the region

The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce's new leadership took office on June 1, 2024. The Peoria Area Chamber Board will guide the chamber's work for the coming year.
